Start TrekingTo start recording your trek, simply hit Start and you're off to the races. All incoming points that fall within your accuracy settings will be logged as part of your trek. Total Points Received
Total points received since application initialized or recording state was reset. Points Saved
Number of points saved for the current trek. New points will not be saved if they do not meet the minimum accuracy settings. Accuracy
The accuracy of the most recent incoming GPS point is displayed (along with your current settings in parentheses). If the accuracy of the incoming point is within your accuracy settings, the label will be color-coded green; if not, the label will be red. Options
Any changes made to the settings will immediately be reflected in the recording of your trek. You can change accuracy settings, activity type, and even units on the fly. Don't see your favorite activity type? Trektivity allows you to add unlimited custom activity types. Phone Lock
With support for iOS 4 multitasking in Trektivity 2.0, there's no reason to avoid locking your phone. Your trek will continue to record - even when you lock your phone, take a call, check email, or change the song. Screen Lock
Locks the screen and prevents your phone from sleeping so you can keep an eye on your stats while you trek. Camera
Take photos and video during your trek. Then, see exactly where they were taken on the map. |

iOS 4 Multitasking SupportWith support for iOS 4 multitasking in Trektivity 2.0, the treking experience is greatly improved. Now you can answer calls, respond to texts or email, change songs, surf the web, even play games - and your trek never stops recording. Another improvement included in iOS 4 is that locking the phone no longer kills the app. So simply start your trek, lock your phone, slip it in your pocket; Trektivity takes care of the rest!
Full Screen MapAnother improvement in Trektivity 2.0 is the full-screen map. Simply click the blue up arrow button to view your trek's details up-close and personal (for an even more up-close look, check out the export feature). Too zoomed in? Just tap the re-center/auto-zoom button to get back to where you started.

Picture and Video
Trektivity now allows you to take pictures or video right in the middle of your trek. What's better? It shows you right where you were and when it happened! To start adding even more documentation to your trek, click the camera button
ResumeResuming a trek will pick up right where you left off - that is, it will act as if you had simply paused the recording. This is important as it means that if you resume somewhere different than where you stopped, Trektivity will add the distance between the two to your trek. If this is not desired, Trektivity recommends simply starting a new trek; then, view both treks simultaneously from the history list. |
